How to Disable the Windows Defender

This error appears when Windows Defender has not been turned off through Defender Control. The text of the error itself says what you need to do.

Defender Control can be downloaded from the "Quick start" section.

Quick start

Solution#

1. Download Defender Control.

2. Unzip the archive and run the program as administrator. The indicator will be yellow at first.

   

   
   

   

3. Click the "Disable Windows Defender" button.

4. Open cmd as administrator and run the command:

   sc query wdfilter
   

   Copy

   The service status must be STOPPED.

   

5. Restart Defender Control as administrator.
